Dancing Again

THE MOONDANCER

Dancing together on a cloudless night,
As the stars sweetly whisper hums of love to her.
The heart that beats on drums of romance
Has finally joined the heart that soars among the stars.
They parted once in this lifetime,
Then met again dancing among the clouds of the other life.

  1. Though beautiful, I ultimately find this poem to be incredibly sad. It describes how no true happiness can be found in this life, but the next.

    1. I can see where you got that meaning.. However, I wrote this one believing that whatever might be the cause of their separation, they will definitely meet in the afterlife.. Whether they like it or not.. I never wrote with sadness in my heart... But with a promise..

  3. This is kind of different that what you usually write, dear +A Furious Child. Very inspiring... Reminds me a little of a love that never got to be fullfilled once... Perhaps it comes from the same source as those peices you wrote "Lost Memories," and "First... Silence... Last..."?

    1. Dear Hino,
I'm afraid to disappoint you, but each poem has the same source... Me. However, each poem expresses an individual experience that involved different persons.. In a way, each one expresses a wish that wasn't granted... Except for Dancing Again, because in it, the lovers meet again.. They are not myself and my other significant, though.. They are a different couple..
