Oh, how changed life is now!
I was a child
Living in the beautiful days and nights
Of absolute satisfaction
With a world that forgot my existence.
I lived in isolation of the tormenting
Spirits of lonesome.
Indulged in the beauty of silence
And the warmth of love.
I lived parading the truth
Of my emotions and my love,
Unaware of the complexities of reality,
Ignorant to the cruelty of envious beings
Surrounding my little private world.
For in their attempts to destroy my spirits,
They found voracious resistance
And courageous defenses!
